The song sets a very relaxing smooth mood. I love the mandolins, they have been recorded superbly. The total mix is very good. I’d say overall this is a sixties influenced song which I hope this style comes back. I like the groove exit melody. >>Read more of When the Furious Leaves’ reviews on GaragebandThe vocals on this song are phenominal. They have the perfect relaxed tone for this feel-good song. The vocal doubling effect was particularly effective in this case. The lyrics are also great, in a surreal late-Beatles kind of way. The beat and the guitars have a lazy, swaying kind of feel to them. All in all, the elements of this song make for a relaxed, tripped-out, lazy day in the sun kind of song. Great! This is a really great sounding recording. The use of the percussion is excellent. It definitely sets a very chill mood. The melody works amazingly well with the music. The backing vocal parts add tons of layers and thickness. I love the guitar that comes in @ about the 3 min. mark. The effect on the main vocals is very cool. Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Originality. The acoustic guitar and synth, with some bongo sets up a unique mood; the vocal is ideally suited to the intimate texture of the song; the mix is perfect - the vocal is up front, but you can clearly hear the bass line and other important elements; the interplay with the background vocals is interesting. Moody opening. The opening sounds like an old Beatles tune. Julia. The lyrics are great. Love the slow build with the other guitars. Holy smokes you guys are great. Love this tune. There’s so much going on. The mix is perfect. I don’t know who you sound like ’cause you’re original. The bass and percussion really fill out the sound. This is the polished work of a mature artist. You’re going to go far. Any chance you play in NYC? Let me know and I’d definately come to listen. Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Bass, Production, Lyrics, Beat, Mood, Originality. Reviewed by: Batguanno

>>Read more of Good for Me’s reviews on GaragebandAt 58 seconds I really like the slow build up of sounds - creating a very nice anticipation for your listeners. The vocal in one earpiece was a bit eerie - smile - but oh so original. This song has great ups and downs with and the music swells and then shrinks down - a very unique sound and a very good sound... I like this song very much. Best of Luck. This song is very, very cool. It has a reggae feel to it. The vocals are superb, and the production is awesome. Cool guitar work, and the bass line is simple but effective in shaping the mood that is created. Very smooth, laid back, and steady. But you keep it interesting by varying your guitar work from time to time. Awesome, man. Awesome! This is what I would like reggae to be, but isn’t...Seriously, it’s difficult to write this review because I’m so into this song...The ending is perfect! The snaps sound great! I will definitely check this band out. Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Drums, Lyrics, Melody, Beat, Mood, Originality. Reviewed by: jbyfriend
